We invite you to our Wey Mikailwitl-Xokowetsi Ceremony (Small Feast of the Dead – When The Fruit Falls).

Our ancestors honored and celebrated those who have passed for two months, total of 40 days, during August and September. The first 20 days were dedicated to children, and the following 20 days in the month of Wey Mikailwitl-Xokowetsi to adults.

We invite anyone who has lost a loved one to bring photos, so we can uplift their memories together. Let us come together in remembrance and solidarity as we honor those who have passed by creating a community altar.

Feel free to bring an offering that calls to you. We encourage everyone to bring fruits and flowers for this particular ceremony.

Other offerings may include: candles, incense, food and drink to share, etc.
